JOHN SPOTTSWOOD MOORE

John Spottswood Moore is a multi-award winning filmmaker based out of  Austin, TX.  With 15 years of production experience, Moore has acted in the capacity of director, editor or animator on everything from marketing videos for Fortune 500 Companies (Lenovo, HP), to unscripted web-series (Rooster Teeth), to animated PSA's.

 

Moore is a recipient of both Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Studies from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington as well as a Masters of Fine Arts in Film Production from the University of Texas at Austin.  His graduate thesis film, Once Again, was awarded the Barbara Jordan Media Award for Excellence in Broadcasting by the state of Texas.

Moore is currently finishing post-production on his first documentary feature, When We Were Live, about the history of public access television in Austin, TX.
